Lamb Recipes

Need a few Lamb Recipes to bring variety to you dinner table? When is the last time you had lamb? Interestingly I have found that many people have never tasted lamb meat. I bet that once you do, you will want it again and again. Of course, that depends on the lamb being properly prepared. I  received a few requests for lamb recipes so I thought I would create a page just for that. The following recipes are ones I selected for two reasons. First, they are absolutely delicious. Secondly, They are difficult to mess up.

Try one of these recipes and let me know what you think. Personally I love all three of these for different reasons. The grilled lamb recipe provides the most lamb flavor and is a fantastic meal. It is also the most technically difficult of the three to prepare. The crock pot lamb with potatoes is the easiest meal to prepare and it is the most filling. The Indian curry is amazing. If you like Indian food, you will love the flavors developed in this meal.

Want to experiment on your own? There are numerous herbs and spices go really well with lamb dishes. Basil and marjoram, should be used sparingly because they can dominate a dish if you use too much. Mint and parsley make a nice addition to lamb as do curry, cayenne, thyme, chilies, tarragon, ginger, rosemary, sage, paprika, oregano, mustard, ginger and turmeric.

Personally, I think Sage, rosemary, and thyme make an amazing combination. If you have a favorite lamb recipe, please share it with the rest of us.

The best way to determine what spices you will enjoy is to learn from an expert.
