Starting Seeds

Starting seeds is something that most people don’t do. Most people buy plants that are already started. I think this is a big mistake. Not only are plants more expensive, but you really don’t know what you are bringing into your garden.

Starting seeds isn’t really very difficult and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. You need a few basic items and they will practically grow themselves.

This is my garden in a box –

Here are the seeds in their starter trays. These two trays will hold 72 seedlings. I bought mine at If you click this link it will take you to an amazon page with all the items I used to start my seeds (except the Mittleider Magic which you get here)

Now, you can make seed trays, and you can make a grow light for less than you can buy them. You will need the heat mat and thermostat though. I’ll post a video later showing you how to make the seed tray and the grow light set up.
